| switch off | DEPTH button - press and hold down; LAMPS screen displayed; CONTRAST screen displayed; countdown is started; switched off when countdown reaches 0. | |
| backlighting | press DEPTH and hold for 1 second until display starts showing LAMPS; release button; press DEPTH to change backlighting; returns to normal operation in 7 seconds after last press | |
| contrast | press DEPTH and hold for 2 seconds until display starts showing CONTRAST; release button; press DEPTH to change contrast; returns to normal operation in 7 seconds after last press | |
| min and max depth values | press DEPTH momentarily; display will show MIN depth value logged; press DEPTH again; display will show MAX depth value; press DEPTH to return to normal operation. You can reset each one to current depth by holding RESET button for 3 seconds | |
| alarm settings |
alarm is started if one of the following conditions occurs : the depth is less
than the SHALLOW or SHALLOW ANCHOR level; the depth is more than DEEP ANCHOR
level; the DEEP level value is crossed. To set alarms, press ALARM. SHALLOW alarm settings are displayed first, the bell sign indicating that the alarm is enabled and the level value displayed. To enable/disable the alarm, press and hold RESET button for one second; to change the level value, press RESET and OFFSET buttons simultaneously to enter adjust mode; in adjust mode, use OFFSET and RESET keys to change the value. Exit adjust mode by pressing OFFSET and RESET together again. Press ALARM to switch to DEEP alarm settings, they are changeable in the same way. Press ALARM to go to SHALLOW ANCHOR alarm. The procedure is the same, but anchor alarms are marked by the anchor sign on the display. Press ALARM to go to SHALLOW DEEP alarm. Change its settings if needed. Press RESET to temporarily silence the alarm |

| changing depth offset |
depth offset is a value added to sensor readings. Transducer is usually located
at hull bottom, so specify positive value (vertical distance from transducer
to waterline) if you wish to get depth values from waterline; a negative value
will be specified in case depth measured from keel is needed. Press and hold down DEPTH and ALARM buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds until display will show USER/CAL (calibration). Press DEPTH, the screen will show current depth units in the upper line; press DEPTH again to display current depth offset value' press OFFSET or RESET to change depth offset. Exit from calibration by again keeping DEPTH and ALARM buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds |
